Chain Lubricants

Include additives to prevent wear, oxidation, corrosion, prevent buildup on chains. Five product lines.

  • MorTent – Petroleum-based, this line is suitable for temperatures up to 120˚C (250˚F).
  • SynTent – Based on Group IV synthetic (PAO). ISO 68 grade currently running at 200-230˚C (400-450˚F).
  • SynTent 2000 – blend of PAO and polyol ester. Suitable for applications with temperatures from 230–260˚C (450-500˚F). This is our most popular chain lube series.
  • SynTent 7000 –Base on polyalkylene glycol. Extremely clean, not compatible with most other base fluid types. Good for applications with temperatures up to and exceeding 260˚C (500˚F).
  • SynTent 8000 – 100% polyol ester, Good for applications with temperatures up to and exceeding 260˚C (500˚F).

Heat Transfer Fluids

  • MorTherm – We have two lines of petroleum-based fluids primarily for closed systems running at or below 315˚C (600˚F). They are thermally stable and resist deposit formation.
  • SynTherm – Based on synthetic base fluids, the SynTherm line provides improved resistance to deposits and extended useful fluid life. It is designed primarily for closed systems running at or below 315˚C (600˚F).
  • HTF 260 G – HTF 260 G is a polyalkylene glycol-based fluid that can be extended with water to meet specific quench speed targets. HTF 260 G allows for quenching at different speeds in without changing fluids by adjust the water-to-quenchant ratio.

Concrete Form Oils

Form-releasers are materials that help forms separate from hardened concrete, which are sometimes also referred to as demolding or parting agents. They prevent concrete from bonding to the form, which can mar the surface when forms are disassembled. “Traditional” form releasers such as diesel fuel, motor oil, and home heating oil are carcinogenic, limit the potential for reuse of wood formwork, expose construction personnel to volatile organic compounds (and potentially occupants as well), and are proscribed by a variety of state and federal regulations, including the Clean Air Act. MorOil form release compounds provide consistent, smooth finishes, reduce health risks to construction staff and occupants, and often make it easier to apply finishes or sealants, when necessary.

  • MorForm 107 – Low viscosity, low odor form release oil excellent for use with plastic forms.
  • MorForm TBW – Efficient, low viscosity product suitable for use with a variety of form material types (steel, plastic, wood, etc.). MorForm TBW contains no solvents. Excellent for use with pre-cast concrete.

NOTE: Many of our product lines can be enhanced with Teflon, suspended molybdenum disulfide (MSO2 or “moly”), organo-soluble molybdenum (clear moly), seal conditioners, anti-sling, dye, optical brightener (for identification by blacklight) or in other ways to meet a specific need.
